Sculptris is a free 3d modeling program downloadable at www.sculptris.com (3,2mb). It has its own kind of interface, which in many cases is very different from 3d software like 3dsmax, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4d etc. I tried it a couple of times and figured out that it is fairly simpel, once you figure out what tools to use. So after a couple of times, i recorded this video in which i tried to model a female head (Only tried males before) and it worked out OK, if you consider the very short amount of time it required. My skills grow fast as i work with this program (Just yesterday i modeled my first mouth, using a reference picture) and i think that many people will feel the same like me, when working with this program. One note: I use a Wacom Intuos 3 Tablet + Pen, which is pressure sensitive. I have set the pressure to "strength" and not "size". So the harder i press, the "stronger" is the brush. I havent tried much modeling with my mouse, so i can not really judge that. But definately gibve it a go with a mouse and decide for yourself.
